Measurements / Tests
Our test facilities are capable of handling a large number of tests.
Our test equipment enables the 100% final inspection of all electrical parameters, as well as the safety-related tests. The equipment can be programmed to suit the test. J-Lasslop records the test data to ensure traceability.
Inductance Analyzer
Inductive components under load conditions
At the design stage of component development it is vitally important to understand how the component performs under different operating conditions. This might include operation at diverse frequencies, AC drive levels or DC bias currents.
The 3260B Precision Magnetics Analyzer can plot any of the measurement functions, such as inductance (L) or impedance (Z), (including secondary term) against frequency, AC drive level or DC bias current
Frequency sweeps can be selected in the range from 20 Hz to 3 MHz. There is a choice of either linear or logarithmic frequency displays
The 3260B is especially suited for measuring the parameters of telecommunications transformers.
The selected parameter and the derived value are presented in graphic form. AC drive stages can be set between 1 mV and 10 V DC, while quiescent current can be internally set between 1 mA and 1 A. The use of external 3265B 25 A DC Bias Units Bias currents can be set to a maximum of 125 A.
